Among them, 9.9GWh of ternary lithium batteries were loaded, accounting for 28.0% of the total loaded volume (+24.1% year-on-year, -12.2% YoY); 25.5GWh of lithium iron phosphate batteries were loaded, accounting for 71.9% of the total loaded volume (+48.7% year-on-year, +7.8% YoY).
Industrial grade monoammonium phosphate is one of the main raw materials for ammonium method iron phosphate, and the unit consumption is usually 0.75-1 tonne. We assume that 1Gwh battery needs about 2,200-2,500 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, and assume that the theoretical unit consumption ratio is: lithium iron phosphate = 0.95* iron phosphate + 0.25* lithium carbonate, ammonium iron phosphate = 0.75* industrial monoammonium phosphate + 0.15* purified phosphoric acid + ferrous sulfate. Among them, in April 2024, if we consider 1/3-1/2 of the 25.5GWh lithium iron phosphate battery loaded with industrial monoammonium (the rest of the sodium method or iron powder method, etc.), then we calculated that April for the new energy used in the consumption of industrial monoammonium is about 14,000 tons-21,000 tonnes, in the industrial monoammonium downstream demand share of lithium demand has been raised to more than about 10% (2021-) 2022 only 5%-6%)
