Potassium Phosphate Monobasic (MKP)

Molecular weight: 136.09
Properties: colourless square crystal or white crystalline powder. Relative density is 2.338. melting point is 252.6℃. Soluble in water (83.5g/100ml water at 90°C), the aqueous solution is acidic, the pH of 1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution is 4.6. insoluble in alcohol. It has release. When heated to 400°C it is melted into a clear liquid which solidifies on cooling into an opaque glass of potassium phosphite.
Uses: Used as buffer and culture agent in industry; used as high efficient phosphorus and potassium compound fertiliser in agriculture; used as food improvement additive in food grade.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION:
The package should be stored in a ventilated, dry, cool and clean warehouse, and the package should be sealed and moisture-proof. It shall not be stored and transported together with toxic and other polluting substances. During transport, it should be protected from rain and sunshine. Handle with care during loading and unloading to prevent damage to the package.
