The 2023 World Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Conference will be held from November 2 to 4 at the Jinhai Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pinggu District, Beijing. The conference was hosted by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and co-organized by China Agricultural University, Pinggu District People's Government, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Consultative Organization for International Agricultural Research. The theme of the conference is "Food Security and Future Agriculture", with the "1+4" as the main framework, the opening ceremony and main forum will be held, as well as the World Agricultural University Presidents Forum, the World Agricultural Entrepreneurs Forum, the World Agricultural Venture Capital Forum, and International Agricultural Exchanges There will be 4 special forums including the Cooperation Forum, the World Agricultural Science and Technology Expo and several parallel forums will be held at the same time.
Du Taisheng, Vice President of China Agricultural University, introduced that the conference invited 162 domestic and foreign important guests from 61 countries and regions around the world.
During the conference, the Conference Consensus and National Science and Policy Guidelines for the Global Agricultural and Food System will also be released, and the establishment of the World Agricultural and Food Industry Low-Carbon Sustainable Cooperation Center, the World Agricultural and Food Industry Unicorn Research Center, and the World Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Investment will be launched.
