From January to September 2023, my country exported a total of 22.67 million tons of various fertilizers, with a value of US$7.187 billion; of which, in September, it exported 3.77 million tons of various fertilizers, with a value of US$1.097 billion. The quantity in that month increased by 20.3% compared with the same period last year, and the amount decreased by 23.6%; the cumulative increase in quantity compared with the same period last year was 31.6%, and the amount decreased by 12.3%.
Urea exports were 1.19 million tons in September (310,000 tons in August), with a value of US$436 million; cumulative exports from January to September were 2.83 million tons, with a value of US$1.087 billion. The quantity in that month increased by 241.7% and the amount increased by 130.8% compared with the same period last year; the cumulative increase in quantity and amount compared with the same period last year was 80.0% and 19.9%, respectively.
Ammonium sulfate exported 1.38 million tons in September (exported 1.55 million tons in August), with a value of US$217 million; the cumulative exports from January to September were 9.85 million tons, with a value of US$1.675 billion. The quantity in that month decreased by 21.2% compared with the same period last year, and the amount decreased by 46.9%; the cumulative increase in quantity compared with the same period last year was 12.5%, and the amount decreased by 30.7%.
Diammonium phosphate exported 360,000 tons in September (330,000 tons in August), with a value of US$172 million; the cumulative exports from January to September were 3.61 million tons, with a value of US$1.904 billion. The quantity in that month decreased by 22.8% and the amount decreased by 59.9% compared with the same period last year; the cumulative increase in quantity and amount compared with the same period last year was 37.8% and the amount decreased by 14.9%.
Monoammonium phosphate exported 90,000 tons in September (320,000 tons in August), with a value of US$46.168 million; from January to September, the cumulative exports were 1.54 million tons, with a value of US$878 million. The quantity in that month decreased by 64.0% and the amount decreased by 81.0% compared with the same period last year; the cumulative increase in quantity and amount compared with the same period last year was 1.0% and the amount decreased by 32.8%.
