Recently, Russian Prime Minister Mishusky successfully visited China. At a regular press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce on May 25th, spokesperson Shu Jueting introduced that during this visit, the China Russia Business Forum hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development was successfully held in Shanghai, with active participation from enterprises from both sides. The event achieved good results. The Ministry of Commerce and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development have signed a memorandum of understanding on deepening cooperation in the field of service trade, agreeing to strengthen cooperation in tourism, sports, transportation, medical and other fields, and continuously improve the level of service trade cooperation.
According to Shu Jueting, the next step will be for the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant departments and the Russian side, to fully implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, take positive measures together, consolidate traditional commodity trade, expand cooperation in agriculture, service trade, digital economy, green development and other fields, optimize trade structure, improve facilitation level, and promote the quality and progress of Sino Russian economic and trade cooperation.
