There are two common types of finished products: one is the refined high-quality product, usually packaged in 1-kilogram containers, with good water solubility and anti-coagulation properties, making it suitable for drip irrigation and fertigation. The other is the regular potassium humate, which is often in large granules, with a lower price, but requires more water for dissolution – around 500-600 kilograms per bag. It is recommended to apply it by trenching and then watering.

Before flowering
The flowering and fruit setting period demands a significant amount of nutrients. Insufficient nutrients can lead to flower and fruit drop. During flowering, it is generally not recommended to irrigate heavily, so it's essential to replenish nutrients in advance. We recommend adding high-phosphorus water-soluble fertilizer and potassium humate before flowering.
Fruit Enlargement Period
Similar to the above, the fruit enlargement period involves rapid cell division and high nutrient requirements. Using a balanced, high-element fertilizer along with potassium humate is recommended.
For fruit trees after bagging and before prolonged summer heat
During this period, potassium humate continues to chelate and supply nutrients to the crops, ensuring fruit enlargement within the bags. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in enhancing drought resistance. Potassium humate forms a gel in the soil, improving soil structure and providing a stable water and nutrient supply, which is particularly important during hot, dry summers.
Before coloration
As crops enter the ripening period, their leaves, branches, and root systems may become exhausted and show signs of aging, yellowing, and degeneration. Especially, the root system's nutrient absorption capacity decreases. However, fruit coloration requires a significant amount of nutrients.
Not only do fruits need these nutrients, but also flower buds. We recommend using high-potassium, high-element water-soluble fertilizer, combined with potassium humate, which offers both quick and lasting effects, preventing nutrient deficiency in the later stages and avoiding issues like green-back, soft grains, and nutrient deficiencies.
This application is crucial, especially for crops with a long ripening period, such as citrus and grapes, which tend to lose nutrients in the late stages. This is primarily due to insufficient nutrient accumulation in the early stages and the short efficacy of top-dressing fertilization. In addition, frequent watering may not be suitable during the later stages. Therefore, potassium humate should be used in larger quantities to provide a continuous and sufficient supply of nutrients required for fruit coloration, resulting in good color development, high sugar content, and excellent taste.
