Description:

Agricultural fertilizers Potassium Nitrate is a chemical compound fertilizer. It is salty and a bitter taste with chemical formula KNO3. It is a source of nitrogen.

Character: Agricultural fertilizers Potassium Nitrate is white color or colorless transparent particles or crystalline powder.  It is highly soluble in water, insoluble in absolute ethanol and ether. When it is dissolved in water, it can absorb heat so the solution temperature can reduce.

What is potassium nitrate mainly used for?

Uses of potassium nitrate include the manufacture of fertilizers, pesticides, glass, fireworks, explosives, and rocket fuels. It is also used as a food preservative, and when added to meat it causes a reaction between the myoglobin and hemoglobin in the blood, making the meat appear red in colour.
