Description：Ammonium Sulphate Granules is a common fertilizer and one of the important raw materials in agricultural production. It is obtained through the reaction of sulfuric acid and ammonium salts, containing abundant nitrogen and sulfur elements, which can provide sufficient nutrient requirements for crops and promote their growth and development.

Generation Method

It is obtained by neutralization of ammonium hydroxide and sulfuric acid, crystallization, centrifugation and drying. Neutralization method Ammonia and sulfuric acid are neutralized at about 100℃, the resulting ammonium sulfate crystalline slurry is centrifuged, dried, and the finished ammonium sulfate is prepared. The 2NH3+H2SO4→(NH4)2SO4 recovery method is obtained by recovering ammonia gas from coke oven gas and then neutralizing it with sulfuric acid.

First Aid Measures

Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and rinse with plenty of running water.

Eye contact: Lift the eyelid and rinse with running water or normal saline. Seek medical attention.

Inhalation: Leave the scene to a place with fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek medical attention.

Ingestion: Drink enough warm water to induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.

Applications: 

• It is used as raw material for the production of hydrogen peroxide, ammonium alum and ammonium chloride in the chemical industry, and as solder in the welding industry.
• It is used in the textile industry as a fire retardant for fabrics.
• Electroplating industry used as an additive in electroplating bath.
• Used in agriculture as nitrogen fertilizer, suitable for general soil and crops.
• Food grade products are used as dough conditioners and yeast nutrients

Attention when use ammonium sulfate Granules as fertilizer：
1. Because ammonia is easy to volatilize in an alkaline environment, pay attention to soil cover when using ammonium sulfate fertilizer.
2. In acidic soil environment, soil with low organic matter content and soil with small buffering performance, if ammonium sulfate fertilizer Granules is used for a long time, it is likely to lead to soil acidification and easy to harden the soil. So at this time, it is necessary to cooperate with lime, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, organic fertilizer and plant ash and other fertilizers to use together, the effect will be better.
3. Ammonium sulfate Granules fertilizer can be used on all kinds of crops, but it is used on sulfur crops, so that its effect will be better, such as the use of garlic and other crops on the effect is better.
4. ammonium sulfate Granules fertilizer can not only be used as base fertilizer, it can also be used as topdressing and seed fertilizer. However, relatively speaking, it is more suitable and effective for use as seed fertilizer and top dressing.
