On August 9, the bidding was opened, and a total of 23 suppliers were received, with a total price of 3.382,500 tons. The lowest price on the East Coast was $396 / ton CFR from Samsung C&T, while the lowest price on the West Coast was $399 / ton CFR from Macrosource. Argus believes that prices on the East Coast mean that before taking into account any profits, the converted China export FOB price is about $380 / ton, while the West Coast price is about $386 / ton for the Middle East FOB or $357 / ton for the Baltic FOB.
