He said, 'If we escape the fierce competition in the Chinese market, it means exiting from the global market,' indicating the policy of continuously investing in China as one of the most important regions.
Panasonic's China business accounts for about 30% of the revenue. Among various businesses, Panasonic looks forward to the growth of its residential space business that provides residential equipment and appliances.
Nan Jian participated in the China International Import Expo recently held in Shanghai. In his speech at the CIIE, Nan Jian emphasized the policy of focusing on residential space business, new energy vehicle parts, and factory automation in China, based on environmental technology.
Nan Jian stated that Panasonic is investing in increasing production and will soon have a cooking appliance factory put into operation. He also plans to expand the production capacity of the Suzhou electronic parts factory by 2025. Panasonic has built and decided to open a total of 17 new factories in the past three years.
