World Agrochemical Network reported: Recently, China Customs preliminary statistics show that in January-June 2024 China's cumulative exports of a variety of high-element fertilizers (including ammonium chloride, potassium nitrate and animal and plant organic fertilizers, the same below) 12.606 million tons, a year-on-year drop of 0.8%; the export amount of 3.234 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year drop of 27.6%.
In June, China exported 2.959 million tons of fertilizers, the export amount of 852 million U.S. dollars; single-month export volume and export amount of the year's highest record.
In terms of import, China imported a total of 7.178 million tons of various fertilizers in January-June 2024, a year-on-year increase of 19.0%; the cumulative amount of imports was US$2.432 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 23.2%.
In the month of June, China imported 951,000 tons of various fertilizers, with an import amount of 326 million U.S. dollars; the average import CIF price was 342.58 U.S. dollars per ton.
