EDTA Fe is a coordination compound formed by chelating ferric ions (Fe³⁺) with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). The chelation protects iron from precipitation, oxidation, or fixation in the soil, thereby maintaining its bioavailability over a broad pH range (pH 4–7.5). This makes EDTA Fe an ideal choice for correcting and preventing iron deficiency (chlorosis) in crops, lawns, and ornamental plants.
