DTPA Fe is a chelate which protects nutrients against precipitation in a moderate pH range (pH5 - 8) similar to EDTA, but its stability is higher than EDTA. Mainly it’s used for nourishing plants in fertigation systems, and as an ingredient for NPKs.
Chelated DTPA&HEDTA , available in liquid, powder,is developed for the corrention and prevention of deficiencies in agricultural and horticultural .They can be used in soil,foliar and hydroponic applications.



Application of HEDTA Chelated Fe:
1. Usage: Mainly used In agriculture and horticulture in soil, HEDTA Chelated Fe can also be used as a foliar spray to provide correction when a soil application is impractical.
2. Highly sensitive crops to iron deficiency: peanut soybean. Beans. Sorghum. Broccoli. Cabbage tomato mint Grape Strawberry Citrus. Apples, pears, peaches.
3. Moderately sensitive crops to iron deficiency: barley cotton flax. Forage, vegetables, and so on.

In industry, EDTA is mainly used to chelate metal ions in aqueous solutions. In the textile industry, it can prevent metal ion impurities from changing the color of dyed products. In the pulp and paper industry, EDTA inhibits the ability of metal ions, especially Mn2+, to catalyze the disproportionation of hydrogen peroxide, which is used for chlorine free bleaching. In a similar way, EDTA is added as a preservative or stabilizer to some foods to prevent catalytic oxidation decolorization catalyzed by metal ions. In soft drinks containing ascorbic acid and sodium benzoate, EDTA can reduce the formation of benzene, a carcinogen.
